With roots dating back to the 1970s, Nike’s ACG division has always focused on delivering outdoor-focused products and apparel that still maintain the high performance nature and unrestricted mobility of the sportswear giant’s regular athletic wear. And while its garments and gear have always been embraced by hikers, adventurers, and other outdoor enthusiasts, Nike’s ACG label has more recently been increasingly adopted by the streetwear community. To celebrate its ties to the streetwear and emerging gorpcore spaces, we’ve rounded up five of the newest and most highly anticipated drops from Nike ACG’s October releases.
Article Overview
Nike ACG Polartec “Wolf Tree” Men’s Pants

Offered in four color options across more-than-half-a-dozen sizes, the Nike ACG Polartec “Wolf Tree” Men’s Pants are a premium, high-performance take on a classic pair of sweats that offer incredible levels of warmth while being incredibly lightweight. Boasting an unrestricted range of movement, these sweatpants sport an elastic waistband with an internal drawcord, an embroidered ACG logo and Nike Swoosh, and zipper-secured hand pockets. And while they may look like ordinary sweats, this pair’s proverbial secret sauce lies in its ultra-soft Polartec fleece construction — which is also derived from 100% recycled polyester fibers. This pair is also largely characterized by its immense versatility, lending itself just as well to use in the city as it does at the campsite or out on the trails.
Nike ACG “Skull Peak” PrimaLoft Reversible Vest

When one hears the “Nike ACG” name, the type of product that springs to mind probably looks a lot like the “Skull Peak” PrimaLoft Reversible Vest. Designed for layering with other garments, this gorpcore-style item is cut from a water-repellent woven fabric that’s been stuffed with synthetic, lightweight PrimaLoft insulation — allowing the vest to offer ample warmth for your body’s core, while weighing very, very little. The vest utilizes a zippered, reversible design that let’s you choose between two different colors to wear on the exterior (and/or interior). Rounding out this versatile vest is an embroidered ACG logo on the left chest, an ACG Tribiner, and a “Skull Peak” patch label at inner hem (or outer hem depending on how it’s being worn).
Nike ACG Air Exploraid Jade Horizon Men’s Shoes

In recent years, some of the shoes that Nike first released in the 1990s have experienced a major resurgence in popularity. And it’s not just the Swoosh’s retro sneakers and basketball shoes that have once again become increasingly in-vogue, as several of its throwback outdoor shoes have also been embraced by the modern streetwear scene — with an obvious example being the Nike ACG Air Exploraid. Freshly released in a new Jade Horizon colorway, the Air Exploraid retains the original 1999 shoe’s silhouette. Its turn-of-the-millennium era design has been brought to life in an amalgamation of mesh, suede, textile, and rubber. Decorated in vintage ACG logos, these shoes also boast stretchy inner sleeves and mid-soles that borrow Nike’s Max Air unit from its sneakers and running shoes of the day.
Nike ACG Aysén Day Pack

The Nike ACG Aysén Day Pack is proof positive that the outdoor sub-label produces backpacks and carry solutions just as well as it does gorpcore garments. Offering 32 liters of storage space, this daypack is constructed around a ridiculously rugged Dyneema shell with an aluminum G-hook-secured roll-top closure. It doesn’t end there, as the thing also comes loaded with a dedicated tech pocket with a laptop sleeve, Zonal padded foam and mesh panels across the back, and an aluminum trim package. With its ridiculously hardwearing construction, ability to stand up to practically any weather, and bevy of organizational features, the ACG Aysén Day Pack is another All Conditions Gear item that lends itself just as well to use in the city as it does off-grid.
Nike ACG PrimaLoft “Skull Peak” Men’s Storm-FIT Jacket

Engineered to take on extreme cold, the Nike ACG PrimaLoft “Skull Peak” Men’s Storm-FIT Jacket is a technical garment that excels at seamlessly transitioning from the city to the mountain while looking equally at-home in either setting. This oversized full-zip winter jacket features a wind and waterproof tough woven fabric shell with lightweight synthetic PrimaLoft insulation stuffed between the shell and a smooth ripstop lining. Benefitting from the use of Nike’s Storm-FIT technology, this garment also boasts a suite of exterior and interior pockets, a hood with adjustable bungees and cuffs, and an ACG Tribiner. If you want a true do-it-all winter jacket that will actually keep you warm without adding a ton of visual bulk, this is a seriously stellar pick.
