With spring right around the corner, people are eager to store their boots in the closet and pull out a sleek pair of slip-on kicks. Luckily for outdoor enthusiasts, Salomon just unveiled its latest silhouette in the PULSAR Advanced, a streamlined set of steppers prepared for warm weather.
The most striking element of the brand-new design is its eco-cognizant upper, which is constructed using a blend of rugged Matryx yarn and natural linen, as Salomon claims to have placed sustainability at the forefront for its latest release. Moreover, the patented Matryx material is weaved into the shoe with aramid fiber to deliver an idealized foot mapping support. Additionally, the recycled linen fibers fully compose the silhouette’s vamp and tongue.
And while the PULSAR Advanced is not waterproof, the upper also boasts a protective mudguard to keep the shoe’s lightweight EVA sockliner safe and, most importantly, clean Similar to its other technical footwear offerings, the French performance brand’s latest sits on a trusty Road Contagrip outsole mixed with flat, wide lugs to promote optimal grip across the board, as this adhesive material is ideal for road running.
The brand-new PULSAR Advanced is available in a trio of colors, including the picture Black/Pewter palette, on Salomon’s webshop for $200.
