Benchmade’s Station Knife Goes Full Tactical Pitmaster with a Cerakote Camo Edition

Benchmade’s Station Knife has been a sleeper hit since it landed roughly five years ago. A 5.97-inch fixed-blade clip-point that serves double duty as a chef’s knife and a campsite workhorse, it tends to end up in both smoker setups and backyard prep stations.

Now the Oregon-based brand is giving it the BBQ-ambassador treatment, with a limited-edition camo version that leans more tactical pitmaster than prep cook.

A Cerakote Finish That Pulls Double Duty

The headline isn’t just the look, although the duck-camo treatment paired with a Flat Dark Earth PVD blade is a handsome combination. The handle’s pattern is laid down as a multilayer Cerakote finish over milled 6061-T6 aluminum scales, so the camo isn’t just paint sitting on top of metal.

And because each handle is finished by hand, no two knives come out identical. You’re getting a one-of-one within a production run, which Benchmade fans are sure to appreciate.

Same Bones, New Wardrobe

Underneath the camo, this is the Station people already know and love. The 5.97-inch CPM-154 stainless blade runs 0.114 inches thick at 58 to 61 HRC, a sweet spot for edge retention without making sharpening a chore. Crucible’s powder-metallurgy take on 154CM has been a fixture in premium kitchen and EDC blades for years, and it feels right at home for this application.

The clip-point profile keeps it versatile, easily go from slicing brisket then turning around to dice onions for the side, and the included Boltaron sheath with a leather retention strap keeps the thing from sliding around loose in a knife roll.

Apron Included, For Now

As if the knife wasn’t rad enough, it also comes with a matching camo apron that doubles as a knife roll. Benchmade tapped rising BBQ personality Matt Groark to debut the combo.
