In late 2019 news broke of former owner and director of Interlogic Outsourcing Inc. Najeeb Khan being accused of an elaborate, fraudulent financial scheme that swindled victims out of millions of dollars and ultimately led to the owner of the Elkhart-based business filing for bankruptcy. And with Khan still on the hook for millions, a myriad of his personal assets are being auctioned off, including most of his $31M, 281-vehicle collection. RM Sotheby’s has been tasked with selling off the bulk of Khan’s collection, resulting in the forthcoming Elkhart Collection Sale.
The sale includes a total of 230 cars, many of which are extremely noteworthy and are being offered without reserve. Specimens slated to cross the block include a 1964 Vantage-spec Aston Martin DB5, a Ghia-built 1953 Fiat 8V Supersonic, an SV-spec 1969 Lamborghini Miura supercar, an immaculately-restored 1968 Iso Grifo GL Series I, and one of the crown jewels of Khan’s collection: a 1953 Mercedes-Benz 300 S Roadster that’s previously been valued at $1.3M. The sale also includes a few hundred pieces of memorabilia and 30 various trucks, trailers, and motorcycles, ranging from modern ADV bikes to antique Italian GP racers.
