Utah’s lone automaker just delivered on a promise four years in the making. The Vanderhall Brawley GTS is what happens when a company known for crafting elegant three-wheeled roadsters decides to tackle the dirt. After spending over a decade perfecting the art of open-air motoring, Vanderhall has pivoted to something entirely different: a fully enclosed, climate-controlled electric off-roader that challenges every assumption about what an adventure vehicle should be.

Quiet Revolution
Four independent electric motors deliver 404hp and 488lb.ft of torque to each corner, turning what could have been another loud, gas-guzzling trail toy into something more refined. The quad-motor setup enables precise control over individual wheels, essentially giving you four-wheel steering that can angle the rear wheels in-phase or opposite the fronts at speeds under 15mph.
The 40-kWh lithium-ion battery pack provides up to 140 miles of range, which would still require you to tow this to your destination. But BEVs are notorious for their low range, so this isn’t terribly unexpected. Furthermore, Vanderhall has prioritized capability over endless range, and with regenerative braking helping extend that figure, the GTS should handle longer excursions without issue. Just get it back to your towing vehicle in time to hook it back up.

Cabin Enclosure
The enclosed cabin represents Vanderhall’s biggest departure from traditional side-by-side design. While most UTVs subject passengers to dust, noise, and the elements, the Brawley GTS wraps its four occupants in heated bucket seats with four-point harnesses, full climate control, and even a sound system. The large glass panels integrated into the doors will give you solid visibility despite being enclosed.
Ground clearance sits at a generous 18″, with 21″ of suspension travel at each corner thanks to a four-wheel independent setup. At around 3,000lbs, the GTS manages to stay relatively light despite its enclosed cabin and substantial battery pack, promising nimble handling on both technical trails and open terrain.

Still Room for Tech
Front and rear receiver hitches accommodate up to 1,500lbs of towing capacity, but more interesting are the communication ports wired to cabin switches for controlling accessories like winches or snow plows directly from the driver’s seat.
The CCS Combo charging port hints at Vanderhall’s bigger vision that this may have been a vehicle designed for the growing number of states allowing street-legal side-by-side registration. The windshield wiper system reinforces this capability, making the Brawley perfect for beach runs while helping you get there as well.
