With dozens of complete builds under its belt, it’s more than fair to say that the crew over at SMOKED knows more than a thing or two about spinning a spanner, and after years of wrenching on bikes using equipment from TEKIRO Tools, the industrial tool outfit has now honored the multinational shop with a limited edition run of motorcycle tool kits.
Dubbed the SMOKED RAC-08, this collaborative release is comprised of 59 different hand tools, all of which are made from premium tool steel before being gold-plated. Boasting metric sizes, the kit – which is essentially a special, limited-edition version of TEKIRO’s regular 59-piece mechanic set — features a ratchet, a myriad of sockets, a plethora of regular, offset, and T-handle wrenches, numerous extension pieces, a slew of different bits and drivers, four different sets of pliers, multiple hammers, an array of metal files, a full Allen key set, and several specialty tools.
All 59 tools fit into one of several trays with custom slots to accommodate each tool. Each tray can then be neatly stacked inside of an included special edition toolbox with SMOKED Garage and TEKIRO Tools branding. And, while it may be lacking a few key items — such as a chain tool and a torque wrench — this 59-piece set still makes for a stellar essential mechanics kit, whether you’re wrenching on cars or bikes.
