Ever since the Caped Crusader first appeared on the silver screen in 1966, audiences have been enamored with Batman and the various trials and tribulations he faces while fighting crime in Gotham. Not unlike James Bond, one of the major selling points of the Batman film franchise has undoubtedly been the gadgets, gear, and vehicles used by Bruce Wayne when he suits up. Inspired by Bats’ kit, Wayne Enterprises — not to be confused with the fictional outfit of the same name from the DCU — was founded in recent years with the aim of delivering limited edition products and collaborations that draw ample inspiration from the Dark Knight’s signature rides, weapons, and other pieces of kit.
And for Wayne Enterprises’ latest joint-effort, the company has appropriately partnered with legendary Italian design house and hypercar marque Automobili Pininfarina in order to produce an extremely limited run of Gotham (re: color silver) and Dark Knight Edition (re: color black) B95 and Battista hypercars.
Limited-Edition Match Made In Heaven
It’s commonplace for blacked-out, menacing-looking high-performance vehicles to be described as “something Batman would drive.” And Pininfarina’s recent collab with Wayne Enterprises leans into this notion by customizing a pair of the world’s most-capable hypercars exactly as Bruce Wayne would. In the brands’ typical fashions, each of these four one-of-one limited editions boast a slew of bespoke details both inside and out, including custom paint, bespoke upholstery, numerous special branding, logos, and plaques, and each hypercar even gets a state-of-the-art privacy mode, a Wayne Enterprises-inspired human-machine interface, and a bespoke audio system voiced by Bruce Wayne’s butler, Alfred Pennyworth.
Bats’ Barchetta
All four of Pininfarina and Wayne Enterprises limited edition hypercars boast some truly remarkable performance capabilities that make them objectively fitting for Bruce. The Dark Knight and Gotham Edition B95 cars feature 1,416-kW quad-motor powertrains that make 1,900hp and afford a two-second 0-60mph time.

Constructed around a full carbon fiber monocoque draped in all-carbon fiber bodywork, both the Dark Knight and Gotham Edition Battista models are even more extreme, being kicked along by a quad-motor electric powertrain that cranks out the same 1,900hp, though allows for an even quicker 1.86-second 0-60mph time and a more-than-220-mph top speed.

Going Dark: Dark Knight
The Dark Knight Edition Battista and B95 start with already wildly-impressive EV hypercar models that are then custom-modified to better suit the streets of Gotham. Both hypercars come adorned in exclusive Nero Profondo gloss paint over a matching blacked-out interior trimmed in a combination of leather and Alcantara. Both models also ride on a custom set of ten-arm split-spoke ceramic-polished wheels (20” F, 21” R) shod in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2R rubber.
Gritty City-Inspired: Gotham
Taking inspiration from Batman’s hometown and stomping grounds, the Gotham Edition Battista and B95 hypercars take things in a more elegant direction. While the Dark Knight-spec models are clearly intended for Batman, the Gotham Editions are specced for Bruce Wayne to use when not fighting crime as his alter ego. This urban-inspired set of one-off hypercars come cloaked in a glossy coat of Argento Vittorio paint over a tan leather cabin with bespoke electrowelding quilting in the center panels of the seats.

Available for allocation now, the Automobili Pininfarina x Wayne Enterprises Dark Night and Gotham Edition Battista hypercars have been priced at € 3,400,000 (~ $3,647,350), while the Dark Night and Gotham Edition B95 models are going for € 4,900,000 (~ $5,256,475).
