MANSORY Turns Ferrari’s SF90 into a Carbon-Bodied, 1,100-HP Monster

Last year, German tuning outfit MANSORY applied its signature performance-tuned, carbon-bodied take on Ferrari’s F8 Tributo, resulting in the 880-hp F8XX. Fast forward to today and the Brand-based tuner has now applied a similar treatment to the Prancing Horse’s SF90, resulting in the new MANSORY F9XX.

Available for both the Coupé and Spider versions of the SF90, the F9XX features a massive slew of both aesthetic and performance upgrades, including a largely reworked powertrain and a new body kit. Crafted entirely from forged carbon fiber, this widebody aero kit features a completely revised front end with enlarged intakes set in a new front apron, a specially-designed front splitter, custom side skirts, and a newly-developed double rear diffuser arrangement. This all-carbon fiber bodywork setup not only massively increased both front and rear-end downforce, but also includes a myriad of functional intake scoops that bolster airflow to the upgraded Ferrari’s engine, brakes, and cooling system.

The SF90’s mid-mounted 4.0-liter Biturbo V8 has also been thoroughly massaged and now puts down an even 1,100hp and 722ft-lbs of torque — a massive bump over the stocker’s numbers. These changes have also enabled the F9XX to clock a 2.4-second 0-60mph time and reach a top speed of just over 220mph. To compensate for the increased power, the F9XX’s chassis has also been reworked. Other additions include a quad-pipe exhaust setup and MANSORY’s ultra-light, forged, single-piece YT.5 Air wheels — which are offered in 21” and 22” sizes and come shod in high-performance tires. The interior of the car has also been heavily reworked and now sports a bespoke black and yellow upholstery package, a forged carbon trim and sill package, and a custom MANSORY Sport steering wheel.

MANSORY will be producing the Ferrari SF90-based F9XX in limited numbers, and while pricing has yet to be revealed, we anticipate an MSRP that’s a few hundred grand over the SF90’s $625,000 base price.
