With LEGO CON 2022 in full swing, the Danish toymaker is wheeling out a vast array of new builds, and it arguably just unveiled one of the year’s most impressive models so far. By making use of its proprietary TECHNIC tech, LEGO has collaborated with the Prancing Horse to intricately craft a brick-built take on the Ferrari Daytona SP3.
Measuring 5.5” high, 9.3” wide, and 23″ long, this 1:8 scale model will serve as an impeccable build for any auto enthusiast. LEGO’s sporty model is composed of a whopping 3,778 pieces, making it the brand’s largest car model to date, as well as one of the most intricately designed ones, too. As a bonus, each model comes with a unique serial number and display plate, as we’re sure you’re going to want to show this off after putting it all together.
As far as authenticity is concerned, the fourth installment in LEGO’s Ultimate Car Concept series was designed in collaboration with Ferrari and delivers on every last detail that the genuine model has to offer, from an 8-speed sequential gearbox to a monstrous V12 engine with moving pistons. To finish it off, the Daytona SP3 features a removable roof and pair of opening butterfly doors, proving it to be opulent both inside and out.
When it comes to LEGO, you can often tell what the brand deems a premium build by way of its price point, and the upcoming Ferrari Daytona SP3 is listed at $400. Luckily, Ferrari fans can expect this behemoth model to hit the market on June 1.
