Daniel Craig’s final outing as James Bond in 2021’s No Time to Die includes a memorable scene when 007 rides through the streets of Italy on a Triumph motorcycle, during which the secret agent executes a wall jump that rivals Steve McQueen’s Hilts in 1963’s The Great Escape.
Bond’s bike in question is a blacked-out XE-spec Triumph Scrambler 1200. Featuring plenty of 007-specific badges, a special TFT startup screen, a custom leather saddle, and even a dual silencer Arrow muffler, a Bond Edition version was released to the public to coincide with the movie. With an upcharge of a little more than $3,000, the bike also saw a limited run of only 250 examples, almost all of which were scooped up instantly. It’s a good thing brands like Corgi Toys make it possible for the average person to acquire some of these grail vehicles.
The Welsh company has been among the finest proprietors of die-cast models since well before the first Bond film even debuted. Now, it’s released a 1:12 scale metal version of the blacked-out Scrambler 1200 with all the same markings of the Bond Edition, and with fine-tuned detail. At a little over 8″ long, it comes in a special-edition collector’s box as well.
What’s more, this version of the Triumph bike won’t cost you thousands of dollars and the headache that comes with finding one of the few still available (if any). The model from Corgi retails for around $130 from retailers.
