Bowlus’ Heritage Model Is the World’s Lightest Full-Size Travel Trailer

While many industries suffered, and are still suffering, due to the global pandemic, the RV world is one that actually saw an increase in sales and sheer enthusiasm. And as more jobs make the transition to remote, we should continue to see people wanting to take their home offices on the road.

Picking up the pieces after halting production for nearly 80 years, Bowlus came back in 2013 and has been on a tear with its newest range of models. A few months back, Bowlus unveiled the first-ever all-electric RV with the Volterra. Now, it unveils the Heritage camper, which bills itself as the “world’s lightest full-size travel trailer.” The new model is not only 300lbs lighter than the brand’s second-lightest model, the Terra Firma, but it’s also over $100,000 less expensive — and around half the price of the Volterra.

Able to survive up to a week off the grid with its electric 2kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery, the Heritage is outfitted with the same luxurious amenities as previous models, such as high-quality bedding and linens and top-tier appliances, with bespoke customizations available as well. Featuring an aluminum exterior that’s mill-finished for a matte silver coat, the aerodynamic trailer sheds its weight by swapping out the wood interior for even more aluminum.

Pricing for the Heritage trailer starts at $159,000, with financing options available for $1,109 per month. Head to Bowlus’ website and contact its sales team if you’re interested.
