KTM barely let the ink dry on the 1390 Super Duke RR announcement before one-upping themselves. Just a week after unveiling the street-legal double-R (itself limited to 350 units), the Austrian manufacturer pulled the covers off the 1390 Super Duke RR Track, a circuit-only weapon that strips away every road-legal concession and doubles down on all the parts that actually matter at ten-tenths. It also marks the first time in the Super Duke’s two-decade history that KTM has built a version you literally cannot ride home from the dealership.

No Mirrors, No Mercy
The RR Track starts with the already aggressive Super Duke RR as its foundation, then goes on a strict diet. Lights, mirrors, license plate hardware: gone. The chromoly trellis frame has been shaved of unnecessary mounting points, the bodywork is almost entirely carbon fiber, and forged magnesium wheels (inspired by KTM’s RC16 MotoGP bike) replace the already lightweight forged units on the street RR.
Even the fasteners are titanium. The result is a claimed 390 lbs (177 kg) without fuel, a full 20 lbs lighter than the road-going RR and roughly 51 lbs lighter than the standard Super Duke R. For a naked bike running slick tires, that’s a wild number.

The Most Powerful Production KTM. Period.
Under all that carbon sits KTM’s familiar 1,350cc LC8 75-degree V-twin, but it’s been given a race air filter, revised mapping, and a full titanium Akrapovič Evolution Line exhaust system. That combination pushes output to 193 HP at 10,000 rpm, climbing to 199 HP with the ram-air system engaged at 155 mph. Torque sits at 111 lb-ft.
Those are modest gains over the street RR’s 190 HP and 107 lb-ft, but they’re pushing a bike that weighs over 50 lbs less than the base Super Duke R. The power-to-weight math gets wild fast (in the best possible way).

MotoGP Hand-Me-Downs (the Good Kind)
Naturally, the chassis hardware doesn’t disappoint either. Up front, a WP APEX PRO closed cartridge fork brings MotoGP-derived technology to a production machine, with CNC-machined fork legs and the ability to swap springs without pulling the fork from the bike. Out back, a WP APEX PRO inline shock offers high and low-speed compression damping, rebound adjustment, and even integrated potentiometer mounting points for telemetry.

Braking is handled by Superbike-spec Brembo GP4-MS monobloc calipers clamping 320mm T-Drive discs, controlled through Corsa Corta master cylinders. Michelin Power Performance slick tires round out the package, making the bike’s track-only intent abundantly clear from first glance.

Less Screen, More Focus
One of the more interesting decisions is KTM’s choice to strip the electronics back. The RR Track drops from eight ride modes to just three, ditching all the street-oriented settings. The 8.8-inch TFT display found on the street Super Dukes has been swapped for a compact 4.2-inch unit with a track-specific interface.
It’s a move that reflects the philosophy here: give the rider exactly what they need and nothing else. The bonded glass screen features anti-glare coating and configurable layouts, toggling between a full data view and a simplified display emphasizing gear position and RPM.
