Each year, Jeep unveils a handful of one-off concepts specifically for its Easter Safari in Moab, Utah. Since 1967, the annual event has been a mecca for off-roading enthusiasts, who will experience a series of experiences, panels, and more. And for the 2025 event, the legendary marque has opted to go retro for its seven new utility vehicles.

Jeep Convoy Concept

Opening the 59th-annual event is the Jeep Convoy Concept, a military-inspired truck based on the 2025 Gladiator Mojave. The 1963 Gladiator SJ was the first post-War truck made for civilians, which then gave way to the J-Series. As such, the hood and fascia feature a reimagined “J-truck” design, while the seven-slot grill is inspired by the original SJ. Other features include high-clearance flares, 17-inch Warn wheels, and 40-inch BFG Krawler tires.

Like always, the new Easter Safari builds are very color-focused. This Convoy Concept gets a “chocolate brown” canopy and half doors, while the LEDs in the grill are amber colored. On the inside, we have special-edition Mil-Spec OD green bed-lined floors, while the low-back seats feature brown leather that’s been given a vintage-style distressed effect.

Jeep Bug Out 4xe Concept

While many of this year’s builds are certainly retro-inspired, the Bug Out 4xe Concept feels decidedly modern. Focusing on shedding weight without compromising strength and capability, the overlander is based on the four-door Wrangler 4xe Rubicon, but then was stripped down, extended by 12”, and given plenty of carbon fiber. High-clearance flares are fitted, along with 18-inch Forgeline wheels designed to be lightweight and 37-inch BFG KM3 tires.

The exterior is appropriately modern-looking as well, with a special-edition PEA51 matte silver coat, yellow accents, and graphics. The roof has been raised 4” to make it easier to access the rear area. Meanwhile, the steel front bumper is given a custom hood and LEDs. Other features include the Mopar front half doors, rear custom body side with integrated battery packs, and a mounted Jeep off-road e-scooter. The inside is pretty rad too, with topo inserts in the custom-trimmed front seats, waterproof floor lining, mole panels, a cargo net for supplementary storage, and attachment points for setting up a hammock.

Jeep Rewind Concept

Shifting from utility to downright styling, Jeep presents the Rewind Concept, aiming to evoke memories of the Wranglers you or your friend may have driven in high school or college. The base for this build is a 2025 Wrangler Rubicon, but after the self-proclaimed millennial designers got their hands on it, the utility vehicle was given an ‘80s and ‘90s spin, taking you “back to an era when music television blared in every household and neon colors were all the rage.”

Simplifying things, Jeep focused mainly on evocative colors here. The special-edition exterior paint is dubbed “Grimace Purple” and given custom pink and teal graphics, while the doors and roof were removed to take us back to the freedom we felt as youths. The interior was given molded plastic and wild-looking seats that carry over the purple-teal–pink colorway of the outside. Radical touches include the vintage car phone, a removed back bench to make room for a boom box, and, by the look of the photos, a compact disc player in the center console.

Jeep Wrangler 4xe Blueprint Concept

If you’re a fan of the color blue, you’ll love the Wrangler 4xe Blueprint Concept, serving as a “rolling catalog” of over 35 factory-tested and -backed items from both Mopar and Jeep Performance Parts. These items are all finished in Mopar Blue, giving this ride a highly unique look unlike anything we’ve ever seen. And on each piece, there’s a QR code that you can scan for purchasing on the Mopar website. These items include the 2-inch lift kit, high-top fenders, rock rails, A-pillar light mounting brackets with 5-inch TYRI lights, a snorkel kit, tube doors both with and without mesh covers, and more. There’s a trio of wheel styles fitted on the vehicle: 17” x 9” beadlock-capable wheels, non-beadlock-capable wheels, and beadlock-capable off-roaders.

More blue is on the interior, including on the Katzkin leather seat covers and door sill guards. There’s also an IP multi-accessory rail, auxiliary switch bank, grab handles for both front and rear, all-weather floor mats, and a tailgate table.

Jeep Wrangler 4xe Rubicon Sunchaser Concept

Perhaps not quite as feature-packed as the Blueprint, the Wrangler 4xe Rubicon Sunchaser Concept does have a utilitarian purpose even though the emphasis here is on fun. Designed to carry “all the necessary gear for a full day of activities from sunup to sundown,” the outdoor adventurer is nevertheless eye-catching with its bright yellow “Solar Flash” exterior with satin black to contrast.

Exterior mods include a 2-inch lift kit, Mopar ILLUMINAT3 pivoting light bar concept for off-roading, a new vented high-top steel fender flares, and new side storage boxes with MOLLE webbing. There’s also a storage rack on the roof. As for the inside, you’ll see two-tone gray leather seats, glossy black trim, all-weather floor mats, and a multi-accessory rail.

Back to the retro builds, Jeep has introduced the Gladiator High Top Honcho Concept, inspired by the brand’s mid-’70s trucks but with a “new personality.” The graphics on the side, hood, and hard top of the vehicle feature a maroon, orange, and yellow pattern instantly evoking heritage Jeeps, while the custom-painted steel wheels accent the colorway with a white hue. Inside, the custom-quilted and perforated Alea leather seats get a tan-and-black color with the JPP logo embossed, giving a luxe look to this fun build.

However, it’s not all just style but plenty of substance too. The High Top Honcho comes feature-packed with flat steel fender flares, Dana 60 front and rear axles, AccuAir adjustable air suspension, a Warn winch, AEV’s modified front bumper, Rock Slide Engineering’s rock rail power steps, and a truck bed storage system from DECKED with a roll bar.

Lastly, the J6 Honcho Concept takes after the late-’70s Jeep Honcho with a highly retro color scheme on the exterior with a trio of blue stripes over the white body. Matching the exterior are interior blue stitching on the seats, steering wheel, and doors. Meanwhile, bronze interior accents pair with the 17-inch bronze wheels.

Built on the four-door Rubicon, this build is transformed into a two-door truck for maximizing cargo space. For hauling, the bed box area is 12” longer than a standard Gladiator — 6ft in total. Speaking of which, the total length of the truck is 201” with a 118.4-inch wheelbase that matches the current-gen four-door Wrangler. Off-roading features include a 2-inch lift kit, 37-inch BFGoodrich KM3 mud tires, flat steel fender flares, a custom triple-hoop front bumper with a quartet of TYRI lights, a spare tire carrier, a Warn winch, rock rails, and a custom roll bar with six more TYRI lights.

The 59th Annual Easter Jeep Safari runs from April 12 through 20 in Moab, Utah. Again, these seven spectacular builds are strictly one-offs for the event, although some of these custom features might trickle down to future models.
