If you know Rezvani Motors for their luxury armored vehicles, you’re not alone. The Southern California-based company has an impressive lineup of otherworldly options from its panic-room-on-wheels Vengeance SUV to its sci-fi-looking Tank. However, in 2014, Rezvani debuted its staggering supercar, simply called Beast. On-the-nose naming conventions aside, this vehicle was truly astounding, based on the chassis of the high-performance open-wheel Ariel Atom and featuring a lightweight dual-layer carbon fiber body. Despite the 2.4L supercharged I4 engine, the Beast could get 500hp and had a 0-to-60 of 2.9 seconds. For its 10th anniversary, the Beast is getting a new edition that’s doubly powerful, but only 20 are being made.
Bumping the performance way up to 1,000hp, the 2024 Beast is now powered by a 6.2L twin-turbocharged V8 and improves the 0-to-60 time to 2.5 seconds. Weighing just 2,960lbs with a 107.3-inch wheelbase, the ride is still built with a carbon fiber body. It rides on military-grade, run-flat Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires, with 20-inch wheels in the front and 21-inch wheels in the rear. Over the years, the Beast has gotten a handful of variants, each leveling up the last, but this 2024 model is the first time we’ve seen one eclipse the 1,000hp milestone.
If the performance weren’t enough, you can’t deny the vehicle’s exterior appearance, which follows closely the Beast design language, said to be a blend of the Lotus Elise and the C-8 Corvette. The downward curvature of the hood, as well as the butterfly doors, evoke the military jets, such as the F-4 Phantom, that inspired CEO Ferris Rezvani when coming up with the design of the Beast. In true Rezvani fashion, the car is equipped with plenty of tactical security such as bullet-proof glass, FLIR thermal night vision displays, and a security survival kit, which includes military-grade gas masks, a hypothermia kit, and a first-aid kit.
Priced at $485,000 with customization options, the 2024 Beast can be purchased through Rezvani’s website, but act fast because, again, only 20 examples are getting made.
