Representing its first new flagship supercar in over 15 years, the Maserati’s MC20 has been a massively successful halo car for the Trident firm, quickly selling out upon its debut, and seeing every subsequent variant also being completely snapped-up in very little time. The popularity and demand for the MC12’s successor has prompted Maserati to continue developing and designing limited edition variants — the latest of which to break cover is Modena marque’s MC20 Notte.

Italian for “Night,” the Notte-spec MC20 marks Maserati’s first limited-edition version of its new flagship supercar. Essentially just a visual package, the MC20 Notte comes cloaked in a model-exclusive Nero Essenza Matte livery complemented via a gloss black roof, dark exhaust tips, and an aero kit composed of exposed carbon fiber. Carbon was also used to make the car’s door and fender sills. This largely blacked-out paint job is juxtaposed by numerous matte white gold elements including the exterior’s badging. Further distinguishing the MC20 Notte from the normal MC20 is a special set of black-finished 20” Birdcage wheels with black calipers and diamond-cut wheel covers that are also decorated in a matte white gold trim.

Moving inside, the limited-edition features a cabin that’s trimmed in black leather and Alcantara and equipped with a trim package crafted from carbon fiber. Outfitted with six-way power sport seats as standard, the interior also gets contrasting yellow stitching and special gold badging that matches the vehicle’s exterior gold badging. In terms of performance, the MC20 Notte goes unchanged from the base model vehicle — though that’s not necessarily a bad thing, considering the regular supercar packs a 621-hp twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that enables it to reach 60mph from a complete standstill in under 3 seconds.

Limited to only 50 units worldwide, the 2024 Maserati MC20 Notte is available now. And, while the brand has yet to reveal any details on pricing, we anticipate this limited edition variant to carry an MSRP that greatly exceeds the regular MC20 base model’s roughly $210,000 price tag.
