
Since updating the Multistrada with its new V4 engine platform, Ducati has been building out its flagship adventure bike lineup, first with the sporty Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak variant and then the off-road-ready Multi V4 Rally. And the Bologna brand is now completing its ADV bike holy trinity with the release of its new Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour — a long-range touring-focused, world-travel-ready variant of the motorcycle.

The Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour is powered by the Italian firm’s 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine which comes wrapped in an aluminum monocoque frame. As an S-spec, the bike also gets Marzocchi Ducati Skyhook Suspension Evolution semi-active electronic suspension which features auto-levelling, minimum preload, and easy lift functions. The bike also sports a full suite of state-of-the-art rider aids including Vehicle Hold Control, multiple ride modes, wheelie control, and traction control — all regulated via a Bosch IMU.

What really makes this model special — and ready to take on countless miles of travel — is the fact that it comes loaded with an enormous host of upgrades and accessories all as standard amenities. This includes a live TPMS unit, keyless starting and fuel cap, all-LED lighting including cornering LED headlights with DRLs, a Bosch-Brembo ABS cornering braking system with Stylema 4-piston radial calipers, a 6.5” TFT display with Ducati Connect, a bi-directional quick-shifter, a suite of luggage, radar-guided cruise control, blind spot detection, heated grips, heated passenger and pillion seats, closable leg area ducts, and a 19”/17” wheel-set that comes shod in Pirelli SCORPION Trail II tires.
