Based in Irvine, California, the Alpha Motor Corporation is a fledgling firm that specializes in producing high-performance retro-inspired electric vehicles. Since its inception, the company has unveiled a slew of different models and sub-variants — the latest of which to break cover is the new Alpha Motor Corp NIGHTWOLF.
Based on the firm’s existing WOLF truck, the NIGHTWOLF is a factory-lifted and kitted pickup that’s been heavily modified for hardcore off-roading. Boasting a body-on-frame construction, the NIGHTWOLF has also been designed to be as modular as possible, accepting a wide variety of aftermarket parts and upgrades. Available in a single motor RWD version and a dual-motor AWD-spec, the NIGHTWOLF is able to deliver 0-60mph runs in 6.2 seconds, plus boasts a towing capacity of 3,000lbs. Offering rapid charging capabilities, the NIGHTWOLF draws from a battery pack that provides between 250 and 275 miles per charge. The top of the truck has been capped off with a solar panel array that feeds a battery pack that adds another 15 to 20 miles of range per day — plus enables the truck to serve as a mobile power station.
Equipped with over 43 cubic feet of collective storage space, the interior of the NIGHTWOLF features a digital driver’s display, a wide format central display, and a Bluetooth-connected sound system. The aft end of the vehicle also sports a 72” bed that’s been capped off with a camper shell. To bring the NIGHTWOLF to life, Alpha Motor Corp partnered with a myriad of aftermarket outfits, including Black Rhino which offered up a set of its 17” Atlas off-road wheels, DMOS Collective which contributed one of its Delta Pro Shovels, and ROAM Adventure Co. which provided a pair of of its roof-mounted 83L rugged cases and accompanying quick-release mounts. KC Lights also bestowed the NIGHTWOLF with 7” Gravity LED headlights and Gravity Pro6 auxiliary lights. Also present is a front roof rack, steel bumpers fore and aft, fender flares, BFG all-terrain tires, and a side-mounted jerry can.
Interested parties can sign up to reserve an Alpha Motor Corporation NIGHTWOLF on the company’s site, and while pricing has yet to be revealed, we anticipate an MSRP of somewhere between $60,000 and $70,000 — based on the $66,000 pricing of Alpha’s similar SUPERWOLF Truck.
