Currently on its fifth generation, the W213 Mercedes-Benz E-Class has included the performance-focused E 63 and E 63 S models since 2016, though as the company continues to focus its efforts on an all-electric lineup, the E 63 is expected to be dropped from the AMG range. Prior to pulling the plug on the model, Mercedes-AMG has opted to give the car one final sendoff with the debut of the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+ Final Edition.
Offered in a Saloon or Estate configuration, the E 63 S 4MATIC+ Final Edition is powered by an AMG-tuned 4.0-liter Biturbo V8 engine that sends 612hp to a fully variable all-wheel-drive system that includes a dedicated drift mode. Offered exclusively in matte graphite grey magno paint, the limited-edition model rides on 20” AMG forged wheels with a unique ross-spoke design and features an aerodynamically optimized, high-sheen black with gloss-tinted clearcoat. There are also special AMG emblems on the C-pillars and model-exclusive foiling on the sides of the car.
Decked out with the AMG Night Package as standard, the Final Edition E 63 S 4MATIC+ also boasts tinted windows and smoked lighting, furthering its menacing, blacked-out visual theme. The interior of the special-edition model gets an AMG Performance steering wheel trimmed in black Nappa leather and microfibre DINAMICA, yellow piping and contrast stitching throughout, a carbon fiber trim package, black AMG brushed stainless steel door sill trims with exclusive yellow illuminated “AMG” lettering, and an “AMG FINAL EDITION” console badge denoting each unit’s production number.
While pricing has yet to be revealed, we do know that the 2023 Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+ Final Edition will be limited to just 999 units worldwide. You can learn more from the Mercedes-AMG website.
