Porsche Upgrades the Cayenne by Giving It the Platinum Edition Treatment

A few months removed from unveiling its Panamera Platinum Edition models, Porsche has decided to provide the cosmetic makeover to another integral car in its catalog. Seeing as the Cayenne has become such a mainstay on the roads these days, giving it an exclusive touch only seems justified, which is why the Stuttgart manufacturer’s luxe Platinum approach is now making way to the Cayenne, Cayenne E-Hybrid, and Cayenne S models.

Similar to the brand’s array of bespoke Panameras, the Cayenne Platinum Edition arrives in its stock form performance-wise but is highlighted by a collection of unique touches that further accentuate its sense of luxury. For example, the opulent SUV sits on a quartet of edition-exclusive 21” Spyder Design wheels that shine bright as a result of their satin-finish “Platinum” hue.

As far as the luxe interior is concerned, Porsche implements a textured aluminum package, as well as ambient lighting, a scenic panoramic roof system, a booming Bose surround-sound system, and enviously smooth eight-way leather seats. Set to arrive in a handful of new colors, including Carrera White and Midnight Blue, the new collection can be tailored to your liking with a matter of ease.

If you consider yourself a family man and the previously announced Panamera just wasn’t in your wheelhouse, perhaps this glitzy new SUV should do the trick for you and yours. Slated to hit the market at some point in the summertime, the Platinum Edition Cayenne models are expected to start from $79,000.
