Only a fortnight after the first episode of this year’s Ducati World Première, the Borgo Panigale firm has just unveiled the second installment of the global presentation, and with it, has pulled the cover off of two all-new additions to the brand’s Scrambler Ducati lineup with the Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO and the Scrambler Urban Motard.
Kicked along by an 86-hp 1,079cc Desmo L-Twin, the 1100 Tribute PRO-spec Scrambler was designed as a two-wheeled homage to Ducati’s first-ever twin-cylinder engine in 1971, and as such features a yellow “Giallo Ocra” livery, 1970s era “DUCATI” and “SCRAMBLER” tank logos, black spoked wheels (18″ front and 17″ rear), new circular mirrors, and a ribbed brown leather saddle — all clear nods to Ducati’s first L-Twin. Alongside celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Ducati two-banger’s debut, the Italian marque has also debuted the Scrambler Urban Motard. Taking inspiration from supermoto bikes, the Urban Motard rides on a set of spoked 17″ wheels shod in sticky Pirelli Diablo Rosso III rubber, a flat seat with MX-style grip stripes, a new side number plate design, a high-mount fender, and a graffiti-inspired graphics package. Like the motards that inspired it, this new 803cc Scrambler model was engineered to be a hooligan-friendly thrill machine that’s ready to be backed into corners and have its front wheel routinely lofted.
The 2022 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO starts at $13,995 and is scheduled to hit dealerships in March of next year, while the 2022 Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard carries an MSRP of $11,695 and is slated for a release the following month in April of 2022.
