Both WESN and Pioneer Carry are boutique gear brands that are based in America and produce built-to-last everyday carry items. In addition to their common commitment to overall quality, both companies also share extremely similar values — a fact that’s now led to the two brands joining forces to deliver a limited edition knife and wallet bundle.
The bundle collab starts with a special version of WESN’s popular Microblade model, though the ultra-compact knife has been treated to a Pioneer Carry-logoed pivot cap and frag-pattern-esque titanium handle scales that have been milled to look like the cross-structure pattern found in Pioneer Carry’s proprietary 10XD material — an ultra-high-molecular-weight-polyethylene that’s ten-times stronger than steel. Tipping the scales at only 1.1oz, the WESN x Pioneer Carry Microblade also sees its regular D2 blade steel upgraded to a more premium CPM S35VN construction. The limited-edition version of the knife also retains the regular model’s ceramic bearings, detent, pocket clip, and frame-locking mechanism.
Rounding out the bundle is a special WESN x Pioneer Carry version of the latter brand’s Global Pouch. Made from Pioneer Carry’s aforementioned signature 10XD material, this mini hauler features a weatherproof main closure that’s secured using a YKK AquaGuard zipper and opens up to reveal five internal pockets. Weighing exactly 4oz, the Global Pouch also measures just 8.2” x 6.2” x 2.7” when fully packed. And, while previously only offered in black or coyote color options, the WESN-spec Global Pouch comes in a unique forest green colorway that’s contrasted via gold Pioneer and WESN branding. The item also boasts a matte finish and a rugged 3PN coating — a proprietary three-ply nylon fortified via a DWR finish that’s used on Pioneer Carry’s wallets.
Limited to only 99 units worldwide, the WESN x Pioneer Carry Microblade & Global Pouch Bundle is available now with pricing set at $170 — though we’d advise interested parties to act fast as WESN’s collabs tend to sell out extremely quickly.
