By retaining every bit of its versatile function, The North Face doesn’t sacrifice much of anything for this new release but adds several elements that made the 700 fill-down garment so iconic from the get-go. The commemorative piece boasts a traditional 1992 yoke and additional baffling for proper warmth distribution. Additionally, each jacket features an internal panel embellished with the brand’s catalog cover from Fall 1992 and the Nuptse’s origin story.
As we mentioned earlier, the functional piece still offers all the great features of the modern-day version, including the ability to pack into its right-hand pocket, which is bound to be convenient throughout the transitional season.
