Portland-based EDC label The James Brand has perfected this blend of clean minimalism with durable build quality, resulting in a unique selection of some of the best gear you can get. Founded in 2012 by designers who wanted minimalist gear made with high-quality materials, the label has carved out its own lane in the world of everyday carry and continues to expand its offerings with some of the cleanest and most fashion-forward gear out there, like The Warrick, the label’s latest EDC-specific bit driver.

Coming in at about the size of your average folding pocket knife (and able to fit in the coin pocket of your pants), The Warrick is a compact bit driver precision-machined from a block of aerospace-grade aluminum before being fortified via an anodized finish. This new TJB item houses a “torque drawer” that comes with four of the most common WIHA screwdriver bits (two flatheads and two Phillips heads). This drawer is weather-proof as well, thanks to the waterproof rubber gasket, and the entire tool was designed with a shape that gives you a solid amount of leverage. It’s finished with a rubber-coated nylon lanyard for easy grabbing and comes in at 3.6 inches long and 0.875 inches wide, weighing just 1.9 ounces.

The Warrick is available in the super clean black-on-black colorway we’ve featured here, along with the Coyote Tan version, which has a contrasting blue torque drawer. As always, this tool was designed at the label’s headquarters in Portland and marks another worthy entry into the label’s EDC offerings. Compared to the label’s previous bit driver, The Cache River, you’re also getting easier access to the bits and a more ergonomic design overall, which is nice.

The Warrick from The James Brand is available now for $85, with a nice little discount available for any military members, first responders, government employees, and teachers.
