If backpacks are used to store your gear all in one place, protecting them from the elements and whatever unexpectedness your day may bring, then why aren’t more backpacks actually designed to do so? Luckily, The Brown Buffalo made one such bag in its 21L ConcealPack Everyday Backpack, which now gets an exclusive limited-edition variant in partnership with online retailer Huckberry.
For those who aren’t familiar with The Brown Buffalo, let’s catch you up a bit. It was founded by bag-making icon Doug Davidson, who got his start designing backpacks for Burton and The North Face before launching his own independent label, which not only assists military personnel, law enforcement, and some of the biggest brands around with their own manufacturing and design but has built its own lineup of carry products that are handmade in the USA.
Sporting a Multicam Black pattern shell built from DWR-coated X50 with 500D Cordura face fabric, the ConcealPack 21L is designed with the goal of hiding and protecting your laptop, cameras, and other valuables throughout the day, featuring a full clamshell opening so you don’t have to do any digging. There are three interior pockets for holding items such as a camera or 32-ounce water bottle. If that’s not enough, a rear compartment is made to fit a 15-inch MacBook Pro. Abrasion- and tear-resistant, the main fabric utilizes X-Pac VX21 lining for minimal stretching and waterproofing and is equipped with 4-point D-rings on the front for attaching extra gear pouches or accessories. Other features include a 3D spacer mesh on the pack panel and shoulder straps, a removable sternum strap, key leashes in the front zipper pocket, and a hidden rear zippered pocket that allows you to add a frame sheet.
TSA-compliant thanks to a luggage sleeve on the back, the limited-edition ConcealPack Everyday Backpack 21L Huckberry Exclusive is currently available from the online retailer for $350.
