Teva’s humble roots began to grow back in 1984, and it’s been manufacturing comfortable shoes built for the outdoors ever since. With spring, summer, and your comfort in mind, the footwear manufacturer has unveiled the Zymic Sandals, its latest pair of open-toed shoes built for everyday wear.
Composed of uber-breathable mesh and a pair of hook-and-loop webbing straps made from fully-recycled plastic, the Zymics are as great for a day at the beach as they are for a trip to the grocery store. They sit on a sturdy and supportive EVA midsole in conjunction with a sustainably-made, grippy EVA outsole and cushy MAX-COMF sole made of dual-density foam. They even receive an antimicrobial treatment to thwart any pesky odors seeping through on those tepid summer days.
While you may be wary of wearing Teva’s latest silhouette extensively, the welded thermoplastic reinforcement will make you reconsider, as it provides support to areas of the foot that tend to feel the most stress. The sporty new release comes available in a pair of stylish colors appropriate for the warmer months, including “Black/Sunflower, accented by hints of teal, as well as the ’90s-approved “Black/Purple,” which evokes the nostalgia of a Charlotte Hornets Starter jacket.
If you’re looking for a light, open-toed pair of shoes to wear on your next hike, there’s no one we trust with providing a quality option as much as Teva. The outdoor brand’s Zymic Sandals are available now on Huckberry for $80.
