As a leader in performance gear, On Running has garnered quite a worthy following in the few years it’s been in existence. Now, looking to expand its catalog and influence even further, the Swiss shoemaker has released the new, ultra-comfortable Cloudvista trail running shoes.
Touted as “the shoe for any trail runner” by the brand itself, On assures that its consistent Swiss engineering will provide an easy glide through even the most rugged terrain. In addition to that, the shoes have also received a DWR finish for bolstered elemental protection. The Cloudvista is practically an amalgamation of On’s top-tier performance tech, most notably fusing its cushy Helion superfoam with Cloudtec cushioning to provide optimized comfort, all the while sitting on a Missiongrip-implemented outsole to provide reliability no matter how long the distance is. The shoes also boast a TPU mudguard for further protection.
The new release’s sustainable makeup shouldn’t be surprising, either, considering On is one of the eco-cognizant leaders in footwear. Composed of 70% recycled polyester and roughly 15% total recycled textiles overall, the CloudVista is as kind to nature as its name suggests. The new release comes available in a pair of sleek colorways, with a more subtle option featuring a mix of “Glacier” white, gray, and black, and a more vibrant “Frost/Ink” option dressed in bright blue and neon green accents.
Designed specifically to provide soft rides on hard-packed trails and featuring a 7mm drop, On’s Cloudvista trail running shoes are available now on the brand’s website for $140.
