Built specifically for everyday carry duties — as its name suggests — the EDC27 is an ultra-pocketable and low-profile torch that packs an impressive punch. The EDC27 is equipped with a multi-function OLED display that shows areas like battery level, remaining runtime, brightness level, and current mode. Other onboard tech includes an advanced power cut-off feature and a wildly efficient constant current circuit. On top of five different brightness levels, the EDC27 also packs both half and full lockout modes, and a patented second-generation strobe mode. Powering the torch is a 1,700-mAh Lithium-ion battery that offers up to 37 hours.

Thanks to a pair of Luminus SST40 LED emitters, the EDC27 offers a 720-foot throw and a maximum output of up to 3,000 lumens. In order to keep the flashlight’s temperature in check, the EDC27 has been outfitted with an external copper and aluminum heat dissipation system with an integrated advanced temperature regulation module. Spanning 5.34”, boasting a width of 1.24”, and measuring just 0.56” thick, the EDC27 features a multi-layer construction that starts with a carbon fiber-reinforced polymer frame before being clad in a black PVD titanium-coated stainless steel body. IP54-rated, this housing also earns the flashlight a drop rating of at least 3.2’, Weighing just 4.37oz, the light also comes with a removable stainless steel pocket clip and dual-stage tactical buttons that are set at different heights for easy tactile identification.
