Mystery Ranch x CORDURA’s District Series Packs Offer Rugged Sustainability

Since 2000, Mystery Ranch has offered some of the best backpacks in the industry, with wide use amongst military, firefighters, and mountain professionals alike. Now, with hopes for a more sustainable future, it’s partnered with Invista’s CORDURA brand for a new line of ultra-strong packs to be released this fall.

Debuting the CORDURA re/cor RN66 (Recycled Nylon 6,6) fabric, Mystery Ranch unveils its District series, which features five everyday carry bags that are perfect for either trips to the office or the most rugged outdoor adventures. As a main ingredient in some of the world’s premier gear and apparel products, including shoes, backpacks, and tactical wear, CORDURA fabric might very well be synonymous with high-performance and strength. But now, the brand is getting the chance to change the world with its revolutionary new nylon synthetic, which has been certified as 100% GRS (Global Recycled Standard).

CORDURA re/cor RN66 production creates 83% fewer greenhouse gas emissions and uses 82% less energy than the production of N66, in addition to using 57% less water. However, the fabric isn’t just more eco-friendly — it can withstand tears, tension, and abrasions much better than other top-tier nylon fabrics as well. Made from 100% pre-consumer recycled nylon, Mystery Ranch’s EDC packs offer both comfort and durability while simultaneously doing their part to responsibly help the environment.

Available in a trio of different color options, the five District series packs include three uniquely sized shoulder bags and a pair of larger backpacks in 18L and 24L, all with a minimalist aesthetic. The line is slated for release this August on the Mystery Ranch online store.
