Upon recently unveiling its first-ever line of shoes, lululemon is looking to make this a big year for “firsts.” Backed by a surfeit of speculation and anticipation, the Canadian athleisure brand has finally unveiled its long-awaited hiking collection, and it seems as though it was worth the wait.

While yoga and running apparel are the brand’s bread and butter, the fact that it’s dipping its toes into different realms of athletics is something many people can look forward to. There are a handful of noteworthy pieces in the new outdoor-focused line, starting with the Convertible Hiking Pant; a pair of adaptable, water-resistant bottoms that you can convert into shorts in case the weather starts to heat up. Next, the Waterproof Hiking Half-Zip Pullover offers top-notch weather resistance thanks to its ultra-breathable Glyde fabric composition that deems it wind-and-rainproof. Similar pieces to this are the Water-Repellent Hiking Short Sleeve and Water-Repellent Fleece Hiking Vest.

As far as gear is concerned, lululemon checked all the boxes in that department, too. Its Front Clip Backpack features strategically-placed front loops that allow you to adjust the pack’s capacity upon closing it. Plus, seeing as our gadgets often follow us everywhere nowadays, it even has a pocket that holds a 16” laptop. The LiftOS Hiking Backpack is the second bag in this collection, and it makes incredible use of the brand’s patented LiftOS tech to provide proper weight distribution throughout. To help support this even more, the backpack comes equipped with compression straps.

Keep an eye out for lululemon’s upcoming hiking collection when it comes out on July 1, with pieces ranging in price from $28 to $228.
