Exotac titanLIGHT

Having the ability to make fire when off-grid can mean the difference between life and death. Using this reasoning, Exotac has engineered an incredibly rugged outdoor lighter that you can trust with your life. Protected by a lifetime warranty, the Exotac titanLIGHT represents the first-ever rugged, waterproof, refillable lighter on the market to use readily available liquid fuel (i.e. standard lighter fluid). Made in America, the titanLIGHT is crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum before being further fortified in one of four different anodized color options. The lighter’s flame is owed to a high-spark flint wheel with an easily replaceable flint. Waterproof down to more than a meter, the lighter sports an O-ring seal that sits beneath a one-revolution quickTHREAD cap — the latter of which features an integrated lanyard loop for easy carrying and attachment.

Benchmade 273 Mini Adamas Pocket Knife

First released a little over a decade ago, the original Benchmade Adamas is now regarded as one of the most trusted and sought-after survival and Paracord knives. In March of 2021, the Oregon City outfit unveiled a more pocketable and EDC-friendly — yet still thoroughly rugged and utilitarian — version of the knife with the Benchmade 273 Mini Adamas folder. Designed by Shane Sibert, the Mini Adamas features a stainless steel frame cloaked in grippy textured G-10 scales and fitted with Benchmade’s super-sturdy AXIS locking mechanism. Mated to the handle is a 3.25” flat earth-finished drop point blade composed of ultra-rugged CPM Cru-Wear — a premium air-hardening powder metallurgy tool steel that’s been heat-treated to 63-65 for hardness on the Rockwell scale. Made in America, the Mini Adamas spans 7.62” overall with its blade deployed.

Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical 38mm

An accurate modern recreation of the company’s original 1960s field watch, the Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical 38mm is a high-end military-inspired timepiece that’s built for adventure. Constructed around a matte-finished 38mm stainless steel case, the watch features a black dial with lume-coated numerals and indexes under a sapphire crystal. Water resistant down to 164’, the case comes paired with a 20mm pin buckle-equipped textile NATO-style strap that’s lined with leather. Keeping the watch ticking is a Caliber H-50 movement — a mechanical motor with an 80-hour power reserve that was developed exclusively for Hamilton’s handwinding watches.
