Everyday Carry: Gulf

Famously associated with some of the most legendary endurance racers of all time, the Gulf Oil scheme is one of the most iconic race liveries in history, having famously adorned the bodywork of game-changing cars like the Ford GT40, McLaren M20, and Porsche 917. Synonymous with the golden age of motorsport, this combination of 3707 Zenith Blue and 3957 Tangerine has become instantly recognizable since first appearing on a race car in the 1960s, though this colorway has also been adopted by a host of additional products and companies when looking to imbue an item with an unmistakably motorsport-inspired feel. Below, we’ve curated a selection of some of our favorite offerings decked out in this iconic colorway in this everyday carry spread we’ve fittingly titled “Gulf.”

In typical Autodromo fashion, this item is made from decidedly high-end materials and boasts an unmistakably high level of fit and finish, having been handcrafted in Italy using premium pig leather that’s been treated with a vintage-style period finish.
