While the standard MC02 is built with a full CNC-machined titanium, the chassis on the Burple Titanium edition is made of a CNC-machined 6061 aerospace aluminum that’s paired with titanium for the actual money clip itself. The titanium gets its iridescent Burple color from an anodizing electrochemical process that creates a layer of oxide on the surface to enhance its corrosion and wear resistance, as well as its biocompatibility. The inherent nature of the Burple Titanium process allows each piece to vary in color, making it unique from the others by varying the voltage amount.
