Chaco’s Canyonland Is the Footwear Brand’s First-Ever All-Terrain Shoe

When it comes to hiking sandals, there are dozens of brands to consider, but there aren’t many that can hold a candle to Chacos. The humble shoemaker has been crafting distinctive, open-toed silhouettes for the outdoors since 1989, and now it’s decided to branch out by making a pair of all-terrain hiking shoes built for any adventure.

The newly-introduced Canyonland’s upper is knit from breathable, quick-drying mesh that spreads across the foot for optimized breathability, then accented with hints of polyester. As far as its all-terrain capabilities are concerned, it features the brand’s proprietary lugged ChacoGrip PLUS rubber compound outsole that provides trusty traction on water or land. On that note, the midsoles have tiny ports that help drain any excess water as you walk around.

Comfort is always the first thing to look for in a pair of hiking shoes, which is why the all-terrain steppers come equipped with a ventilated footbed that uses the brand’s LUVSEAT tech for maximum arch support. However, it can easily be removed when you see fit. Considering this is a great summertime shoe, it only makes sense that it’s available in a variety of colorful looks. The trio of colorways includes Storm Blue, Morel, and a blacked-out model for anyone seeking a subtle look.

No matter where you find yourself this season, this shoe is built to withstand it. Chaco’s Canyonland sneaker is available on its web shop for $110.
