Celebrating nearly 100 years of engineering, Germany-based company Blaupunkt has brought its magnificent folding eBikes to the United States market for the very first time. Folding down to 30”x20”x24” and weighing just 47lbs, the single die-cast magnesium frame utilizes a four-step intelligent clamping mechanism for stowing and opens up just as easily when time is of the essence. Three frame colorway options are available, each given a different name: the blue Fiete, the orange Fiene, and the light gray Henri.

As for its driving capabilities, the eBike offers peddle- and throttle-assist, running on a 36V lithium-ion battery that provides up to 34lb.ft of torque and a 44-mile driving range. Additionally, it’s given a 6-speed Shimano SIS circuit and 20-inch puncture-proof tires. For speed and battery management, the LCD display on the handlebar can also give you route information or deactivate the motor entirely for a traditional peddling experience.
