Interestingly enough, while there are plenty of ways to soup up your ride under the hood and with changes to the body, one of the easier ways to boost its appearance and performance is by swapping out the wheels. And if only the best of the best will do for your vehicle, then you should probably have a look at the HRE3D+.

Made using innovative technologies, such as a unique process called Electron Beam Melting, these are the world’s first 3D-printed titanium wheels. It is worth noting, however, that only the rim is titanium, whereas the rest of the wheel is constructed from carbon fiber. Whatever the case, they would be impossible to make using traditional methods. The results of EBM are similar to those found in powdered metallurgy, a common high-end knife steel process, making these wheels strikingly unique in their appearance, while also being incredibly lightweight and ultra-tough. Of course, cutting down on weight without decreasing strength and rigidity also means your car gets a bit of a performance boost in the process, which is a little added bonus on top of the unmatched looks of the HRE3D+. They’re just a concept right now but we hope to see these wheels hit the road in the near future.
