After it was teased last summer by Daniel Craig and the Olympics, and then subsequently released officially in November, the No Date version of the Omega Seamaster 300m has been the talk of the town. It was the first non-special edition of the diver sans date since its inception in 1993. Since then, we’ve seen a green-dialed version, pairing a titanium case with bronze gold on the bezel ring, crown, and helium escape valve.
However, Omega has now doubled-down on Bronze Gold with its latest Seamaster 300m No-Date, using the metal for the entire case.

What’s New?
Based on the Seamaster 300m 007 Edition watch worn by Craig in the latest Bond installment No Time to Die, the No-Date carries over domed sapphire crystal, mesh bracelet, oxalic anodized aluminum bezel ring and dial, and, of course, the absence of a date window.
However, this latest entry in the pantheon of No-Dates is made with a case entirely of Bronze Gold, a proprietary alloy from Omega that combines bronze with 37.5% gold, palladium, and silver for a less aggressive gold hue and improved corrosion resistance.
Along with the crown and helium escape valve, the metal also surrounds the ceramic bezel insert that’s colored in burgundy and given a 60-minute diving scale. The burgundy and bronze gold complement each other well and are centered with a matte black dial color for neutrality. Gold PVD-coated hands and gold-colored indices complete the aesthetic.

The Rest of the Specs
Luckily, the new Bronze Gold variant doesn’t stray far from the previous editions. This means a 42mm case size with 13.8mm thickness, 49.7mm lug-to-lug, and 300m of water resistance. Just like your standard Diver 300M, this has the 3 o’clock crown and 10 o’clock helium escape valve. The handset, applied hour markers, and indices will all look the same as a regular Seamaster 300 but, of course, without the presence of a date window. Like the green Titanium & Bronze Gold edition, the dial forgoes the wave pattern on the dial for a more elevated look.
Under the hood and viewed through the caseback is the in-house Master Chronometer Caliber 8806 automatic movement, which essentially just removes the date function from the Caliber 8800 that’s in the current Seamaster models. The watches will have the option for a black rubber strap or a Bronze Gold mesh bracelet that looks absolutely stunning.
