Hamilton has a history in the cinematic medium that dates back to its appearance in the 1932 film Shanghai Express. Since then, it’s appeared in hundreds of moments on the silver screen. And in recent years, it’s taken its expertise with lived-in fictional worlds to a new level with cameos in video games like Far Cry 6 and Death Stranding 2.
For its third such endeavor, Hamilton has teamed up with Activision for the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, debuting a special edition Khaki Field Automatic that exists both in-game and in the real world. The watch appears on the wrist of operator Axel Vermaak during multiplayer sessions, but you can also strap the identical piece to your own wrist when the limited run drops in November.

Military Heritage Meets Gaming Culture
This collaboration isn’t Hamilton’s first rodeo in the gaming space but it might be their most strategic. Call of Duty has moved over 500 million copies since 2003, generating north of $30 billion in revenue. That’s a staggering audience of predominantly 18-34 year olds, many of whom already spend money on in-game customization and digital assets. Hamilton is smartly flipping that script: buy the physical watch that mirrors what’s on-screen.
And of course they go with the Khaki Field here. Hamilton supplied timepieces to the U.S. military during World War II, even halting consumer production to focus on military contracts. The Khaki Field line carries that tradition forward when it made these field watches available to civilians in the ’80s.

Keeping It Subtle
For horological purists, the dial is completely clean of any Call of Duty branding. No gaudy logos or “limited edition” script across the face — just a straightforward black dial with both 12- and 24-hour markers, a date window at 3 o’clock, and lumed sword hands. The only place you’ll find the collaboration callout is on the caseback, which features an engraved Call of Duty insignia.

The 38mm stainless steel is the same as previous versions of the watch, while the green NATO strap adds some tactical flair with leather accents. Inside sits Hamilton’s reliable ol’ H-10 caliber automatic, which is based on the ETA C07.611 and delivers a respectable 80-hour power reserve.

Recap
Hamilton Khaki Field Watch Automatic Call of Duty Special Edition
Hamilton’s dropping a special edition Khaki Field Automatic for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 that’s identical to the watch worn in-game by operator Axel Vermaak—and the best part is they kept the branding off the dial entirely, relegating the COD insignia to just the caseback.
