The Hamilton Khaki Field has long been a favorite of small-wristed watch enthusiasts thanks to the cases of the standard mechanical and automatic versions of the iconic piece clocking in at a scant 38mm. But if those same fans pined for the more premium, lightweight Khaki Field Titanium, well, they were out of luck, as that version of the field watch has only ever been offered in a large 42mm size.
Until now, that is. Hamilton has finally brought the Khaki Field Titanium in line with the rest of its family by offering a 38mm case size, and the new watch definitely looks like it was worth the wait. The brand-new Khaki Field Titanium 38 is offered in a trio of intriguing new variants. There’s a black dial with orange accents, a green “khaki” dial, also with orange accents, and finally a PVD black option with a textured concrete-like gray dial.
All three versions of the 38mm Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium are paired with suede-like nubuck leather straps, and all boast sapphire crystals, Super-LumiNova-coated hands and indices, and 100m water resistance. The watches are powered by Hamilton’s ETA-based H-10 movement, which offers premium features like an 80-hour power reserve and a magnetic fields-resistant Nivachron balance spring.
In addition to the new 38mm line, Hamilton has also unveiled two new colorways for the 42mm Khaki Field Titanium: the same green “khaki” and a fetching blue dial. Releasing soon, the Hamilton Khaki Titanium 38 is priced from $895, while the new colors of the 42mm version are listed at $945.
