While the rest of the tech world is trying to cram as much as they can into a manageable size, TVs are only getting bigger (and thinner somehow). The South Korea-based consumer electronics company Samsung has been a mainstay in not only the tech industry, but in the TV industry as well. Over the last few years, the company has been dishing out some giants (like the 98” QLED 4K TV they dropped earlier this year), and now they’re back with the 85” Class The Terrace Full Sun Samsung Neo QLED 4K, the company’s biggest outdoor TV to date.
This 4K outdoor TV was designed to be the one-stop entertainment center for any outdoor gathering, and it’s bolstered by 100% color volume and sun protection. This means you can enjoy a clear, unobstructed view of the TV even if it’s in direct sunlight. Adding to this utility, the TV also comes with an IP56 rating, making it water and dust-resistant. If you’re hosting a bunch of people, the anti-glare screen and wide viewing angle make it easy for everyone to enjoy the big game. Inside, a Quantum Processor can upscale any content into a 4K image and offer more detail.
The TV also comes with a host of new smart features, like Samsung’s Gaming Hub, which allows you to stream thousands of games from big-name studios without having to connect to a console. It’s also running on Samsung’s Tizen OS, giving you over 600 apps and the ability to control other smart devices from your TV. If your remote runs out of juice, the Samsung SolarCell Remote comes equipped with a solar panel that can charge indoors and outdoors.
The 85” Class The Terrace Full Sun Samsung Neo QLED 4K is available for pre-order right now through Samsung’s website until September 10th, and it’s going for a whopping $20,000. There’s no word on an official release date at the time of writing.
