For whatever reason, we humans have just accepted the mouse design that computers have come with since the beginning of time (or at least 30 or 40 years). Fortunately, in recent vintage, companies have come out with more ergonomic mice created to maximize comfort and decrease long-term effects on your palm and wrist, and Logitech’s new Lift Vertical mouse is one of the best we’ve seen.
Made for medium- to small-sized hands, the Lift Vertical is angled at 57 degrees to be at the perfect handshake position, which not only places less pressure on your wrist but extends comfort to your arm and upper body as well. Available for both right- and left-handed users, this mouse is not only smaller in size than Logitech’s MX Vertical mouse (also at 57 degrees), but is also $30 cheaper. Aside from the standard left and right click buttons, the Lift Vertical comes with four additional buttons: two on the thumb position, one that doubles as a scroller, and one underneath the scroller, all of which can be customized in the Logi Options+ software.
With a smooth and quiet scroller and whisper-quiet clickers, the Lift Vertical is also the perfect choice for office environments or late-night work at home. Rather than being charged via USB-C port, the mouse is powered by a single AA battery that is said to last up to two years. Thanks to a wireless range of 10m, the mouse can also be easily switched between three different devices with the click of a button, and by using Logitech Flow technology it has the capability to transfer files between those devices.
Coming in graphite, rose, and off-white colorways, the mouse is made from at least 54% recycled plastics. The Lift Vertical ergonomic mouse is available now via Logitech’s online store for $70.
