While friends and families are currently gearing up to celebrate the holiday seasons, the world’s biggest tech companies are ready to release products you’ll likely end up gifting next December. LG is one of the first to do so before CES, as the Seoul-based gadgeteer has just shown off the first-ever pair of OLED gaming monitors with a rapid-fire 240hz refresh rate.

The two models ready to shift the conversation come in either 27-or-45-inch iterations aptly named the 27GR85QE and 45GR95QE. This might sound like a bunch of digits on the outside, but behind each model number are blisteringly high speeds. The smaller configuration boasts 240Hz support, minimal 0.03ms response time, and a mesmerizing resolution of 2560×1140, deeming it an absolute marvel. Additionally, it offers an incredible array of colors across the board, as it’s said to touch on over 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, which is typically the standard for ultra-HD displays.

Meanwhile, the massive 45″ curved option is where the most genuine gamers and streamers will likely flock, as it boasts a much larger, immersive display with an 800R curvature. However, this more significant option is neighbored by similar specs in most categories, like the color gamut coverage and response time. One noticeable difference is its 3440×1440 resolution, serving as another first for LG. Lastly, each display can have its height adjusted to your liking, practically making for a tailor-made gaming experience.
