Apple barely revealed the iPhone 14 over a month ago, but it’s already back with more news. While it’s bizarre to think that the original iPad is over ten years old, it was only a matter of time until the Cupertino manufacturer showed off the 10th generation model, an announcement accompanied by a bolstered iteration of the more recent iPad Pro.

Starting in order with the flagship base model, it has been livened up internally and externally with a surfeit of software upgrades and several colors to select. The 10th generation iPad is powered by the powerful A14 bionic chip and equipped with a captivating 10.9” display, which outdoes the 9th generation’s preceding A13 chip and slightly smaller screen. Additional features include compatibility with Apple’s Magic Keyboard Folio and endless collaboration opportunities that can seamlessly work from app to app, or as the brand says, “from pie charts to pie recipes.”

Next, the revamped iPad Pro has been bolstered with the gadgeteer’s almighty M2 chip, deeming it an all-in-one powerhouse equipped to take on as much as your laptop can. Further, the M2’s 8-core CPU is up to 15% faster than the M1, paving the way for fluid multitasking and a high-octane workflow. While this upgrade is bound to come in handy for many tablet operators, the Pro’s unique Apple Pencil Hover tech has been the biggest eyebrow-raiser since being announced — in a positive way. It allows 2nd-generation Pencil owners to interact with the display from as far as 12mm, providing a fuller view of their on-screen tasks.

The iPad and iPad Pro are available to pre-order starting from $449 and $799, respectively. Both tablets will be fully available starting October 26.
