DJI’s Osmo Action 3 Can Operate for Over Two Hours In Freezing Forecasts

Action cameras have been some of the hottest gadgets on the market, as GoPro and Insta360 unveiled their latest models in the past few weeks. Unsurprisingly, it was only a matter of time until DJI got in on the action with an updated iteration of its flagship, and the Osmo Action 3 is made to impress.

As far as quality is concerned, the latest model features a maximum of 4K/120fps with an ultra-wide, distortion-free 155° field of view, coming together to capture footage that naturalizes any dynamic movements to deliver a clear, refined result. On the topic of keeping things clear, the Action 3 boasts the latest generation of HorizonSteady, DJI’s proprietary stabilization algorithm, which delivers stable footage even if the camera turns 360°. In addition to its upstanding recording capabilities, the cold-resistant, waterproof action camera operates in unpredictable forecasts.

Moreover, its maximum 160-minute operating time takes a slight dip with the temperature, as it can only record 150-minutes worth of footage when used in conditions as low as -4°. It also features dual full-color touchscreens on the front and rear to offer several playback and editing options. Lastly, the action cam’s quick-release design allows you to switch to vertical shooting when using the optional mount.

The Osmo Action 3 is available in two packages — the Standard Combo and Adventure Combo — on DJI’s webshop, starting from $329.
