John Bowers, one of the co-founders, started the company to make the perfect loudspeaker, trying to capture sound that was as faithful as possible to the live performance. The label’s 600 series of speakers have long been celebrated for their performance and reasonable prices, and now Bowers & Wilkins is expanding the lineup with four new vinyl-friendly speakers in the 600 S3 Series, which range from bookshelf size to home theater size, and showcase the all-new Titanium Dome tweeter.
Speaking of home theater size, the new 603 S3 loudspeaker is actually the largest in B&W’s 600 series, with incredible sound quality (thanks to the new Titanium Dome tweeter) that can easily fill a room. The 606 S3 stand-mount speaker is a nice middle-ground between the 606 and the smaller options, also featuring the Titanium Dome and Continuum cone. The 607 S3 bookshelf speaker is compact, powerful, and an equally capable vinyl companion, and if you’re working with only a little space, the HTM6 S3 is a small yet capable choice.
Each speaker is available in black, white, or oak finishes, and comes with a Titanium Dome tweeter and a Continuum bass/midrange cone. This latest Titanium Dome provides a more immersive and accurate listening experience, and it works with the Continuum cone to really take the performance and precision to the next level.
