Further, Audio-Technica claims that this robust composition paves the way for an unrivaled listening experience thanks to the respective wood’s acoustic properties. While they look spectacular, the ATH-WB2022 are more than meets the eye, offering premier, audiophile-approved sound quality across the board. The headphones house an exclusively-designed 45mm HD driver with a magnetic circuit and carbon-coated diaphragm.
What’s more impressive is its advanced, balanced audio output system, which Audio-Technica touts as the first of its kind. This innovation boasts an independent DAC and amplifier that allow the headphones to support a 24-bit clip, whether streaming or listening via USB. Additionally, the commemorative over-ears support the AAC, SBC, and LDAC codecs, the latter of which promotes a sprawling soundscape. With a 9-hour battery life and a 2.5-hour charging session, you can bask in premium sound quality for nearly half a day.
