Anker’s 757 Is the World’s Longest-Lasting Portable Charger

Power outages are not fun, especially when only so many of our devices can be plugged in at one time using a standard portable charger. Occupying one of these blocks with our phones and electronics render our lamps and kitchen gadgets out of commission until the electricity can be restored. And even then, how long can a portable charger actually last? Looking to change the answer to that question, Anker, known for its high-performing power stations, has unveiled its groundbreaking 757 Powerhouse that lasts six times longer than the industry average.

With a total of 6 AC sockets, 6 USB ports, and a car outlet, the Powerhouse puts out a total of 1229Wh and is the world’s longest-lasting portable power station, keeping you plugged in for over 50,000 hours in total. Lasting over 3,000 full charging cycles prior to any noticeable reduction in capacity, the 757 also has a built-in LCD display that tells you the amount of input and output power being used as well as the battery life and time left until fully charged.

The Powerhouse is the perfect insurance for any outages and is also great for camping or entertaining in your own backyard. It provides three levels of ambient light during a blackout, but you can easily plug in a couple of lamps without compromising outlets to be used for your other devices. You needn’t worry about keeping it plugged in year-round either, as Anker ensures that, if the charger is at 100%, it will only drop to 62% after a full year of not being used. At just over a foot and a half wide and around 44lbs, the 757 Powerhouse is designed using automotive-grade aluminum alloy that’s made to be incredibly durable, as well as corrosion and temperature resistant. The company also backs its product with a 5-year warranty.

Anker says the 757 Powerhouse will be compatible with its upcoming 625 Solar Panel, which will provide an additional 300W of power and can charge the box up to 80% in just over three and a half hours. The 757 Powerhouse is available for pre-order now directly from Anker’s website, with retail availability beginning May 9th.
