Based in Santa Barbara, California, Living Vehicle was first established in 2017 with the aim of combining sustainable design with aspects from high-end home building in order to deliver envelop-pushing luxury trailers made to be towed by EVs. Between the use of lightweight materials, aerodynamic designs, and onboard solar arrays and battery systems that can actually charge the trailer’s electric towing vehicle, Living Vehicle’s mobile dwellings have set the standard in the EV-specific trailer market.

And the Southern California company has now taken its signature formula and applied it to the creation of a model made specially for the Tesla Cybertruck. Behold, the all-new 2025 Living Vehicle CyberTrailer.

Cybertruck DNA

Standing at over 7.5’ at its highest point, the CyberTrailer blatantly sports the Cybertruck’s same design language, with an angular, neo-retro aesthetic. Cloaked in matching stainless steel bodywork with exposed rivets, the CyberTrailer features a roof that’s set at an angle that picks up where the Cybertruck’s sloping windshield/front roofline leaves off.

The entire trailer also rides on a set of wheels that are modeled after the aero-disc-equipped items offered with Tesla’s inaugural pickup, plus said wheels sit under trapezoidal-shaped fenders — just like the Cybertruck. Contrasting the trailer’s stainless steel body are numerous black accents and various red LED lighting elements — again, just like Tesla’s pickup. The LED-strip headlight on the truck is also mimicked by the trailer’s front-facing LED light bar.

Off-grid Autonomy

Living Vehicle has always strived to bolster off-grid autonomy, though its latest trailer takes this notion to the nth degree. In addition to being capped off with a solar panel array, this fully-electric trailer also benefits from an onboard water-from-air creation and recycling unit. Solar panels also line the sides of the trailer, though they can lift up when parked, allowing them to face the sun  — and exposing the windows that sit beneath them. This ultimately means the only factor that really limits the length of one’s off-grid stay is the amount of food rations brought.

Fortunately, the thing also comes stocked with a full luxury kitchen complete with a full-sized fridge, meaning there’s plenty of room for storing food and perishables. Just like with prior models, the CyberTrailer can also charge the Cybertruck (or whatever other EV) that tows it. Add in a StarLink connection and you’ve got all the comforts of home from practically anywhere.

Onboard Amenities

Living Vehicle’s trailers are incredibly luxurious and modern on the inside, and while we haven’t actually see the interior of the CyberTrailer, it’s hard to imagine this more angular EV trailer would be any different. Living Vehicle has, however, confirmed that the CyberTrailer will feature one of the SoCal firm’s fold-out patios, which opens from the trailer’s rear wall. The aft-end of the trailer also benefits from the use of a gear-hauler ramp. Like previous Living Vehicle dwellings, the CyberTrailer is also brimming with state-of-the-art technology, plus the entire thing can be monitored and controlled using an Apple iPad.

Tow Vehicle Compatibility

Though it’s clearly designed to be paired with the Tesla Cybertruck, the 2025 Living Vehicle CyberTrailer is also highly conducive to being pulled by other fully-electric pickup trucks like Ford’s F-150 Lightning and Rivian’s R1S and R1T models. The trailer can also be pulled by gas and diesel-fed rigs, though they can’t be charged by the trailer like electric vehicles can.

Pricing & Availability

The 2025 Living Vehicle CyberTrailer can be reserved now, requiring a deposit of only $100. Priced starting from $175,000, the CyberTrailer is scheduled to begin deliveries sometime in 2025.

Recap

Designed to maximize off-grid autonomy, the 2025 Living Vehicle CyberTrailer is modeled after the Cybertrcuk and engineered to be towed by it as well.
