Vollebak is no stranger to releasing clothes for the most bizarre conditions. Having developed a jacket built to withstand a zombie apocalypse last year, it’s no surprise that the British clothier figured to venture outward after such a disaster here on Earth, which is why its Titan Fleece Jacket is warm enough to withstand space’s cryogenic temperatures.

The remarkable new piece takes inspiration from Saturn’s largest moon, Titan, as it boasts an atmosphere four times thicker than our home planet and an unforeseen temperature of roughly -290°F. Of course, not even the coldest forecast could deter these game-changing fleece. It’s crafted from an innovative blend of polyester, elastane, and partially-recycled Polartec fleece, and, best of all, 3D Dyneema material. This unique use of the rugged fiber is spread throughout the jacket, giving it an interesting texture and abrasion-resistant capabilities.

Moreover, the brand pulled this off by fully re-engineering the world’s most durable fibers. By heating up several bundles of Dyneema, stretching them, then breaking them down bit-by-bit before spinning them until they’re as thin as can be, Vollebak instituted a brand-new form of textile engineering. And in case the space-approved piece wasn’t functional enough, it is reinforced with Special Force-developed high-tenacity nylon for maximum weather resistance while keeping things lightweight. Lastly, the piece is equipped with a handful of roomy, fleece-lined pockets and bungee loops to keep your gear safe and sound.

Vollebak’s Titan Fleece Jacket is available in two colors, including the pictured black and white option, for $1,295.
