PUMA is among those classic sports brands with instantly recognizable logos and styles. The German label started in 1948 and has a history of Olympic wins and athletic achievements, particularly with running shoes. But it wasn’t all just for performance, as PUMA is no stranger to stylish designs, much like the New York City-based label Noah. In the short time since starting in 2015, Noah has carved its own niche in East Coast and streetwear-inspired clothing, while also keeping sustainability in mind. And the pair have just joined forces on the Noah x PUMA collection, which features limited-edition (for the first time) PUMA stars, along with other retro sports gear and casual wear.
Inspired by that ‘70s style (defined by the mix of sportswear and fashion), one of the true highlights in this collection is this redesign of the classic PUMA Star shoes. They’re made with premium leather and have a perforated strip along the side, along with a co-branded label on the tongue. This also marks the first time the PUMA Stars have seen a limited-edition release.
We’ve got some other cool selections from this drop, including the raglan tee with a retro drawing of the PUMA logo. It’s a two-tone, ¾ sleeve shirt made with 100% recycled cotton and Noah’s logo embroidered on the sleeve. Two rugby-style sweatshirts are also in the mix, and they’re made with 100% cotton French terry (20% of which is recycled) and include a draw cord around the waist for size adjustments. The sweat shorts are another athletic-friendly pick and go with everything else in the collection, even the two hats. One of them is a unique painter-style hat, with the same retro logo featured across the drop on top of the brim, and the other is a more traditional cotton terry sport cap.
