With all of the iconic Nike silhouettes in the label’s catalog, there are often a handful of slept-on silhouettes that don’t get quite the same shine as something like the AF1s. This also means there’s usually a small group of dedicated fans that keep the hype train going, and more often than not, this hype meets a new trend in the fashion scene. This time around, it’s the Nike P-6000 Premium, a loveably 2000s-inspired silhouette that takes design cues from an older pair of runners.

The P-6000 draws heavy inspiration from the 2006 Nike Air Pegasus, a loveably Y2K sneaker that initially flew under the radar, but has since become somewhat of a cult favorite. This updated take boasts a breathable mesh upper mixed with synthetic overlays to give you that old-school runner vibe and connects to a thick foam midsole (also adding to the 2000s look and giving you plenty of support). On the bottom, you’re getting a full rubber outsole for traction, and it’s finished with tongue webbing (with “Bowerman Series” branding) and a molded synthetic leather Swoosh design. While all eyes are on the impressive Air Max Dns and (similarly early aughts-inspired) Zoom Vomero 5s, the P-6000 is steadily growing in popularity as the current Y2K obsession continues to dominate the fashion scene.

As for the colorways available, you can grab the “Hemp/Phantom/Sanddrift” colorway featured here, along with the blue “Aquarius Blue/Metallic Silver/White/Black” and “Racer Blue/Black/Flat Silver/White” colorways, and a trio of monochromatic choices (“Sail/Wolf Grey/Metallic Silver/White,” “Black/Anthracite/Black,” and “Pure Platinum/Black/White”).

The Nike P-6000 Premium is available now for $120 in the “Hemp/Phantom/Sanddrift” colorway featured here that recently came out (which makes for the perfect Spring colorway to ring in the warm weather).
